Rock heir JACK OSBOURNE has set himself a new endurance challenge - he wants to travel to the moon in 2018.

The once-chubby hellraising son of rocker ozzy ozborn has stunned fans of the family's reality show THE OSBOURNES by unveiling a new athletic physique in his new Travel Channel program JACK OSBOURNE: ADRENALINE JUNKIE.

In the show, Osbourne takes on a number of tough challenges including mountain climbing and Thai boxing - and now he has set his sights much higher.

The 19-year-old wants to be part of the recently announced NASA mission to the moon, in 13 years time.

He says, "Going to the moon would be amazing. The training's hardcore but I could handle it. I mean, I've got 13 years to prepare."

Sharon Osbourne is stepping up her attack on Madonna.

The rocker’s wife — who last month said that she would “like to punch” Madonna — has launched an obscenity-laced tirade against the pop star, blasting her for switching back and forth between being a religious proselytizer and a sexpot.
“It’s like dressing up with [Madonna]. One day you’re in [bleeping] gun gear, then you’re in horsing gear, then you dress like a [bleeping] dyke, then you dress like a hooker, then you’re in a flowery dress reading kids’ poetry looking like a [bleeping] librarian — then you’re back looking like an old hooker again,” Osbourne told the British mag Word, according to leaked reports.

Osbourne also took shots at Madonna’s best-selling series of children’s books. “And writing those painful silly books and reading them to your kids!” she said. “If my mum came to me with a book like that I’d say, [bleeping] stick it up your [bleep.]. [Bleeping] English Roses. [Bleep].”
Regarding Osbourne’s earlier attack on Madonna, the singer’s spokeswoman told The Scoop, “[I] have no idea why Sharon Osbourne finds Madonna loathsome because she has found a form of spirituality which she has studied seriously for ten years and that gives her serenity in her life. ”

Ozzy NFL Kickoff

Ozzy, Wife Flee Blaze at Mansion

LONDON, England (Reuters) -- Rocker and reality TV star Ozzy Osbourne and his wife Sharon suffered another blow at their English country mansion after they had to flee when a fire broke out while they were in bed.

The blaze started in the living room of the mansion at Chalfont St. Peter, Buckinghamshire, after the heat from a fireplace ignited wood paneling.

The former Black Sabbath frontman and his wife, who were not injured, were roused by an alarm and ran into the garden with their pets.

Two staff members were treated at the scene after breathing in smoke, a fire service spokesman said.

Sharon Osbourne told The Sun newspaper she was devastated by the fire.

"I am beginning to wonder when this bad luck's ever going to stop," she said.

Last November, thieves broke into the mansion and stole a large amount of jewelery.

Eleven months before the burglary, Ozzy Osbourne suffered a near-fatal crash on his quad bike in the mansion grounds.

LONDON (AP) -- Stolen gold and silver discs won by Ozzy Osbourne's band Black Sabbath were recovered after thieves dumped them behind trash cans.

The discs were reported missing last week after a burglary at the home of Osbourne's former manager Patrick Meehan, in Edenbridge, Kent, southeast England.

Kent Police said an anonymous tip led them to the eight discs, found Wednesday in a plastic bag dumped behind recycling bins.

Two other discs stolen in the haul - which included the albums "Master of Reality," "Paranoid" and "Black Sabbath, Vol. 4" - had already been returned after being offered for sale on Internet auction site eBay.

Osbourne, who earned fame as a heavy metal rocker in the 1970s, was a victim of burglars himself last month.

He unsuccessfully attempted to tackle thieves who broke into his Buckinghamshire mansion, west of London, and made off with valuable jewelry.

Ozzy's Home in England Burglarized

LONDON (AP) -- Burlgars broke into rocker Ozzy Osbourne's mansion in England and made off with "a large amount of jewelry" on Monday, police said.

Two men broke into the former Black Sabbath frontman's home in Chalfont St. Peter, Buckinghamshire, a county bordering London, early in the morning. The burglars used a ladder to enter a second-floor room, and residents of the house were awoken by the break-in, police said.

LONDON, England -- Ozzy Osbourne fought off a burglar in his country mansion before the intruder jumped from a second-floor window and escaped with an accomplice and a "large amount" of jewelry.

The rocker and television star said he had the burglar in a headlock and tried to stop him from stealing his wife Sharon's wedding and engagement rings.

"He was a big, strong man. ... At one point I thought I could kill him to stop him hurting Sharon. But then I just let him drop," Osbourne told Britain's Sun tabloid.
